Farnoush Farsiar: The Queen Elizabeth II Contribution to Inclusion and Diversity

The outrage that followed her departure from power was troubling for me as a British citizen. There are some unintentionally opportunistic voices within the British royal family made recent racist insinuations in recent times, other public officials, like Greens Senator Mehreen faruqi have expressed more outspoken in their opinions about their negative views after passing remarks that reference the notion of a racist Empire built on stolen lives and land It is hard to ignore the truth because I was I am an immigrant who came to the UK during my youth and was welcomed with warm welcome. Her Majesty was willing to accept people of different origins and backgrounds during her time of rule. Farnoush Farsiar Queen Elizabeth II's Britain is a land of inclusivity and equal opportunity Queen Elizabeth's legacy on freedom and diversity Queen Elizabeth II was a champion for equality throughout her entire life. The young Queen took the pledge to South Africa in 1947. In her speech, she stated that she would appreciate the opportunity to address anyone she represents. Their race and the place they resided in was not a factor in the royal formula. The view of monarchy was different in the UK prior to the time the reign of Queen Elizabeth II came into power. Her Majesty is not satisfied with the outdated views of the Crown, which included terms like oppression and imperialism. More than 25 percent of the population lived under British imperial rule when she was crowned on the 25th of May 1952. Over 20 countries achieved independence under her rule. Farnoush Farsiar This is proof of the Queen's ideals and beliefs from the very beginning. Queen Elizabeth II did much more than attend charity events that promised to bring about change. Her Majesty devoted her time in order to ensure inclusion in the nation. When you take a look at the daily living of people, you will see that the working sector shows the Queen's influence. Her struggle for equality has led to the normalization of inclusion, something that was not possible previously. Farnoush Farsiar The unjust criticism Queen Elizabeth II has received regarding the race of her subjects, immigration, and imperialism. Queen Elizabeth didn't intend to ever creating a society in the UK that could be perceived as racist. Her speeches to other countries have emphasized the principles she and her kingdom represent. The past isn't something to be questioned. Britain has changed significantly and offered a wide range of immigrants the chance to create new lives. Farnoush Farsiar This equal opportunity is painted across British politics, where many of the cabinets in charge, like the Mayor of London, are children of immigrants. This is an unusual feat when compared with any of our neighbours. It's like the trend of making empty accusations of the monarchy is proving to be a standard practice. When a significant generational event is happening, many resort to blind and unfunded hatred. In our current world, citizens and politicians get more attention for their hate and humiliation , rather than praise. Farnoush Farsiar After dedicating her whole life to the UK and the world, Her Majesty isn't enough to be criticized. The Kingdom of Queen Elizabeth II is a place to promote equality and inclusion While it's easyto do, I think it's unfair to hold one individual and hold them responsible for the events that occurred prior to their birth. Queen Elizabeth II was not involved in the darker past of Britain. She did nothing other than make sure that the country's progress was visible to the UK and the entire world. Farnoush Farsiar While many Monarchs continue to hold their nations to the standards set hundreds of years ago the Queen has made sure Britain is in line with both political and social norms of the west. It's an amazing feat to find a balance between the significance of monarchy and the fact that we are living in the 21st century. The Queen was an advocate for decolonization and she was a proponent of freedom of speech, such as, in Hong Kong. Her influence on countries which are less fortunate is all the testament needed to show her greatness. Many countries were able to see her as a champion of freedom. Farnoush Farsiar The events of the last two weeks following the death of her Majesty prove that she is greatly loved by the population. They are grieving the loss of their leader as well as her devotion and her ability to lead in such times. Britain and all the commonwealth countries will be greatly affected by the loss of my role model and her legacy. She was an incredibly strong woman and an inspiring figure. Let her rest in peace with her beloved husband. Author's Bio: Farnoush Farsiar, an English-born businesswoman, is Farnoush Farsiar. Her family members and she immigrated to Britain as a baby.
